I've decided to go with:

Intel Core i7-2600k Sandy Bridge 3.4 GHz Processor
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 240-pin DDR3 Memory
Coolermaster HAF 922 Mid Tower Case
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0 Gb/s Hard Drive
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GA-Z68x-UD3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel HDMI SATA motherboard
Corsair TX650 V2 650W Power Supply
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti Fermi 1 GB 256-bit Video Card
Samsung 22x DvD burner Sata Model

Any input before I buy would be helpful. It is my first time building.. so I if I am missing something, let me know.

hey mate,

you could probably go for more RAM as it is dirt cheap atm! (providing your budget allows)

you could also get 2x560 Ti's?

The 2600k is a really good option cos it allows you to overclock, and will hold steady for a few years!

the motherboard looks good, you should also consider the ASUS Sabertooth P67 B3, that is the motherboard I run, and seeing as our build are relatively the same it could be an option! this would be about $240 AUD (again if your budget provides).

Also if you were looking to upgrade in the future you might as well look at a bigger Power Supply, there are some good cheap Antec options! I got a 900w for $157 AUD which wasnt bad considering I run 2 of the graphic cards you have listed.

overall man that looks real nice! What is it costing you for the entire build if you dont mind me asking?

gonna run me about a grand from newegg. I won't be going super yet with 2 graphic cards and a bigger power supply. Compared to what i currently have.. this one will be a beast.
